The competition will be fished over the weekend of 23rd & 24th January 2010 on the superb beats of the River Dee controlled by Maelor AA.

All are welcome and entry forms are available from the organiser.

Phil Dixon Winner Severn Trent River Eliminator

The competition was fished on a freezing River Dee on Sunday 1st February. Despite the conditions 150 grayling up to 43cm were caught and carefully returned giving a rod average of 8.
England International Phil Dixon gained a narrow victory from his father Martin and brother Mike. All had 3 place points and they caught 25,26 and 15 fish respectively.
The other likely qualifiers were Gary Hedges of Wem, Andy Taylor of Stafford and Graham Willis of Kettering. The prize for the largest fish went to Tim Burn.
